I brought home my new baby yesterday--a brand spanking new computerized Brother sewing machine! I had outgrown my old basic model. I love, love, love my new machine!
Today I made Abby this dress. She put it on and immediately started spinning around and saying, "I'm like a princess." Cute!
Can you see the pretty scallopped embroidery on the bodice? That was thanks to my new sewing machine!
I had never done ruffles before and now I'm not sure I want to do them again. But the ruffle sure does look cute at the bottom!
I made this dress using a cheapy Butterick See and Sew pattern and some inexpensive quilting fabric from Joann's.
